ECG Stress Test System — BPL Dynatrac Ultra
A treadmill stress test puts the heart under controlled, progressively increasing workload, so that ischemia, arrhythmias and abnormal blood-pressure responses which stay hidden at rest become visible. The Dynatrac Ultra brings the whole test onto one screen: a medical-grade motorized treadmill, the Dynatrac Neo acquisition unit, and Windows-based software running BPL's HES interpretation algorithm.
During the test the software drives the treadmill through the selected protocol automatically — Bruce and other presets, or a protocol programmed by the user — while acquiring all 12 leads simultaneously at 1000 samples per second. The HES algorithm handles arrhythmia analysis and motion-artifact reduction, and METS are displayed live so the cardiologist can follow cardio-respiratory fitness as each stage advances. The Bluetooth-enabled Dynatrac Neo BT transmitter replaces the patient cable with a wireless link, cutting motion artifact further and letting the patient move freely.
Blood pressure is captured by the integrated SunTech Tango M2, which uses R-wave gated Korotkoff-sound analysis to read accurately through the noise and movement of an active patient — with a non-exercise mode for patient set-up and recovery, and a stat mode for rapidly repeated readings.
